Burkett & Associates LLC Thanksgiving Holiday Giveaway – Official Rules

1. Sponsor

This promotion is sponsored by Burkett & Associates LLC, 4001 Anderson Road, Suite S155, Nashville, TN 37217 (“Sponsor”).

 

2. Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, or agents of Sponsor and their immediate family or household members are not eligible. Void where restricted or prohibited by law.

3. Promotion Period

The promotion begins on October 28, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. Central Time and ends on November 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time (“Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device.

 

4. How to Enter

To enter during the Promotion Period, complete one (1) of the following free entry methods:

• Online Entry: Submit the official giveaway form at [official giveaway link] with all required information.

• Mail-In Entry (Alternative Method): Hand-print your name, mailing address, email, and phone number on a 3x5 card and mail it to:

  “Thanksgiving Holiday Giveaway,” Burkett & Associates LLC, 4001 Anderson Road, Suite S155, Nashville, TN 37217.

  Must be postmarked by November 12, 2025 and received by November 15, 2025.

Limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of method. Multiple entries will not increase chances of winning. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

 

5. Agreement to Rules

By participating, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding. Sponsor reserves the right to interpret, amend, or modify these Rules.

 

6. Winner Selection and Odds

On or about November 19, 2025, Sponsor will randomly select one (1) potential winner from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend solely on the total number of eligible entries. Multiple entries will not improve chances of winning.

 

7. Prize

One (1) Refurbished MacBook Pro – 15-inch, Early 2020 or later model.

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $1,000.00 USD.

Prize is refurbished and provided as-is, without any guarantees or implied warranties. No cash alternative, substitution, or transfer permitted, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

8. Shipping, Taxes, and W-9

Winner is responsible for shipping costs to their U.S. address, as well as any applicable taxes or fees. If ARV is $600 or more, the winner must complete an IRS Form W-9 and may receive a Form 1099-MISC for tax purposes. Failure to submit required tax documentation will result in prize forfeiture.

9. Winner Notification and Verification

The potential winner will be announced publicly on Burkett & Associates’ official Facebook and Instagram pages on or about December 2, 2025, and notified directly by email using the information provided on their entry.

​

The winner must respond within 48 hours of notification. Sponsor may require a signed affidavit of eligibility, a liability/publicity release, and a completed W-9 to be returned within 5 days of notice. Failure to respond, provide documentation, or meet eligibility requirements will result in forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing.

10. Publicity

Where lawful, winner grants Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, city, state, and statements about the promotion for advertising or publicity in any media without further compensation.

11. General Conditions

Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the promotion if fraud, technical issues, or any other factor impairs its integrity. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or acts in violation of these Rules.

12. Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims or damages arising from participation or prize use.

THE PRIZE IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT ANY GUARANTEES OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

13. Disputes; Governing Law

Except where prohibited, entrants agree that disputes will be resolved individually and exclusively by the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee. The laws of the State of Tennessee govern this promotion.

14. Privacy

Entrant information will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at [insert your privacy policy link]. By entering, entrants consent to the collection and use of their personal information as described in that policy.

15. Social Media Disclaimer

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, or Apple. You are providing your information to Sponsor, not to any of those platforms.

16. Winner List

To request the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

Requests must be received by December 31, 2025.
